What Ingredients are in Hair Botox

What is the Procedure of Hair Botox
The process can take anywhere between 1.5 and 2.5 hours depending on hair type, length, and fullness. Before the treatment, the hair is thoroughly shampooed with a deep cleanser and clarifier to open the cuticles and strip any oils and product residue. It is then towel-dried and lightly blow dried.
The treatment is applied with a silicone brush in fine sections. The hair is then blowdried completely and thoroughly with a warm heat. The hair is then flat ironed in small sections with 4-6 passes of the flat iron, depending on the original hair condition. After 48 hours wash any residue from the hair with sulphate free products for longevity between 3-5 months.
Aftercare and Maintenance Advice
Once applied the product remains 'active' on your hair for the first 48 hours, before you can then wash it. During the first 48 hours we ask that you don’t wash or tie-up/style your hair. After 48 hours you should wash and style your hair as you would normally, but you will need to use sulphate-free (sodium chloride free) hair products such as shampoo, conditioner and hair spray as products which contain sulphates (including hair-dyes) can strip the hairs natural oils. We always advise on using our BLOWME HAIR LOVE SULPHATE FREE HAIRCARE RANGE. This Hair Botox treatment slowly washes out of your hair 3-5 months when following the aftercare advice. Not following the aftercare will reverse the treatment much faster, depending on you actions.
How Often should I wash my Hair after Hair Botox
For healthier hair with or without the Hair Botox we always advise to wash your hair no more than 1-2 times per week, this is so your hair can build it’s natural oils and maintain itself naturally. Never wash hair daily. Washing the hair daily can strip the hairs natural oils leaving your hair to feel and become lifeless, static, fine and can make the hair thin out as the hair can become stripped and become more damaged in time with over washed hair. Maintain your hair with one or two shampoos, conditioners or masques for healthy shiny strong and radiant Hair.
Shall I book a Haircut with the Hair Botox
For best results we recommend you have your hair cut with the treatment and any colour. All cuts, colours can be done during the same appointment as your Hair Botox booking. Keeping your hair in tip top shape is really all about maintenance. Deep conditioning treatments and having your ends trimmed will help to keep your hair looking fab. A consultation is included in your appointment
Can I book Colour and Hair Botox together at the same Appointment
As there are no chemicals within Hair Botox our product does not alter your hair colour, or structure. If you are due a colour top up, we advise on booking your cuts, colours and Hair Botox as one appointment. Booking your Hair Colour and Hair Botox will be less time consuming for you and achievable in one Hair appointment. What is the cost of Hair Botox with Blowme? We charge one set price. We don’t charge per length as we use the same amount of treatment on all lengths and types of hair and the procedure takes the same time whether you have long or short Hair.
